The World of Tolkien: New Zealand

New Zealand feels like a combination of Ireland and Iceland only with much better weather, more sheep, higher mountains, bigger lakes and glaciers, and some of the most dramatic landscapes in the world. It's no wonder that the Lord of the Rings films were all made there. New Zealand is Tolkien's Middle Earth in all it mystery and power.
